Comedian "Thaadi" Balaji was in for a shock a couple of days earlier when his wife Nithya lodged a complaint with the Madhavaram police stating that she was being harassed by her husband who uses her caste name to berate her.

Balaji opened up about his side of the story and explained that like in all families he and Nithya have their share of little misunderstandings, but his wife on the behest of others is falsely accusing him of using her caste name. He also revealed that he and his daughter Poshika were locked inside a room by Nithya`s folks and the little girl was forcibly taken from him in the presence of the police. He apparently sent a whatsapp message to her stating that they can discuss and solve their problems for the sake of the child, but Nithya`s reply was that she will not rest till he is jailed. Balaji however is confident that God will bring the couple back together again for the sake of his daughter.
