In a protest organized by Students Federation of India in valluvar Kottam, Chennai, the JNU Students union president Aishe Ghosh has said that Superstar Rajnikanth must understand that Students have the responsibility to protect education and the constitution.
Earlier before few weeks, Rajnikanth had said that Students must clearly understand CAA, NCR and NPR before entering protests, and that they must be discussing and getting a clear knowledge of the protests and the laws or else they will be misused by political parties in the protest.
Responding to rajnikanth's statement, Aishe said "Students aim to grow along with the country. The students don't want India to again face the same situation British had put the country in. We don't want to follow the ideologies of Hindu Mahasabha or RSS chief and stand by the ideals of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh, BR Ambedkar and Savitribai Phule and will protect our educational institutions, Constitution and the country".
