Actor J.K. Ritheesh who was known for his philanthropy passed away suddenly in Madurai recently due to a massive cardiac arrest.  He is survived by his wife Jyothi and two children.  One Kesavan has lodged a police complaint against Jyothi stating that she is forcing him to vacate the house that he lives in and that she has engaged henchmen to threaten him.

According to the complaint Kesavan has been living in the house given by Ritheesh for the past ten years and has not paid any rents.  At the same time he has been under the employment of the late actor for the past ten years and has not received any remuneration.  Kesavan had apparently asked Jyothi to pay his dues amounting to rupees four lakhs but she has refused to do so and resorted to evicting him forcefully.  Kesavan has also mentioned that educationalist Isari Ganesh has also interfered in the issue in support of Jyothi and has threatened him with dire consequences if he did not do as told.
