Ramesh announced his arrival with bang in Jithan. His next couple of films did reasonably well, and Ramesh, son of veteran producer R B Choudhary, is optimistic that his next release Puli Varudhu will help him find a permanent place in the industry.

Producer ELK Antony, who churned out Manadhodu Mazhaikalam last year, is producing Puli Varudhu. Acting opposite Ramesh is Mallika Kapoor, who had made her presence felt in Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukiradhu and Vaathiyar before.

The movie has a huge star cast which includes Karunaas, Manivannan, Saranya, and Kuyili among others. Srikanth Deva is scoring music for the movie.

Directing the movie is debutant G V Kumar. He has worked with the likes of Dharani, Maharajan, and Vincent Selva before.

It is a hilarious entertainer. “The movie is set around events that occur in a wedding in a rural village,” says Kumar.
