As India steps towards digitization at economical and effective rates, the country too is stepping forward for a better digitized world. The CEO of Reliance and Jio, Mukesh Ambani introduced the concept of providing free of cost phones to all the citizens of India at an effective price of “zero”, which means, you can pay 1500 down-payment and take your phone home. After three years, you can give back the phone and take back your 1500 rupees. Sounds pretty cool, right?

The booking for Jio 4G phone have just begun and people are not sure how to do it as the procedure is not really avialable almost anywhere. So, keep reading to find the easy process.

Here's how to book your Jio 4G phone:

1.Consumers can book Jio 4G Phone either

Online:

At 'jio.com' and 'MyJio' mobile app or

Offline:

at Jio retailers, multi-brand device retailers and Reliance Digital stores.

2.You can book the phone by paying Rs 500 on the first-come-first-serve basis. The remaining Rs 1,000 can be paid at the time of delivery. Customers can get a full-refund of the security deposit of Rs 1,500 by returning the used JioPhone after 36 months or 3 Years.

3.The payment for phone booking can be made through UPI, credit card, debit card and net banking.

4.You can track the status of the booked phones through "My bookings" button on the app. You have to enter the mobile number and delivery PIN code. Once this is done, you can tap on the "Proceed" button.

5.After payment of booking amount, you will get a pop up of confirmation and a SMS will also be sent to the registered mobile number indicating that the device has been booked.

6. Jio also posted a 5-point checklist for booking the phone.
