New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham is heart-broken. The final match of the ICC World Cup was a nail-biting one which didn't bode well for NZ in the end. They lost by a whisker, that too because of what many say is an "arbitrary" rule.
Taking to Twitter, Neesham asked kids not to become sportspersons. "Kids, don’t take up sports. Take up baking or something. Die at 60 really fat and happy," he wrote. The tweet only goes to show how much devastated the 28-year-old cricketer is over the unexpected loss. NZ had a greater chance to win the match till the last over.
Reacting to the tweet, Atul Kasbekar said, "In the context of when the Kiwi wrote this, I don’t know if I should laugh or cry."
Earlier, Neesham said, That hurts. Hopefully, there’s a day or two over the next decade where I don’t think about that last half hour."
