Jiiva in an Hollywood inspired remake?

The last we saw Jiiva was in director Sundar.C’s laugh riot ‘Kalakalappu 2’. The actor also has more in the pipeline such as ‘Gorilla’ and ‘Gypsy’. Now the interesting revelation is that the actor might become a part of a Hollywood inspired remake. Yes, you read that right!
‘Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil’ is a hit Malayalam movie directed by Tinu Pappachan which is supposedly inspired from ‘The Shawshank Redemption’. The director is all set to remake the movie in Tamil as well and reportedly Jiiva would be essaying the lead in the movie. Well, Kudos to Jiiva who seems to be on a roll!
