Actor Jiiva's 'Sangili Bungili Kathava Thorae' has completed two weekends at the box office. The film is a hit, a fact indicated by it being retained in many screens it opened in the first weekend.

Now we learn that 'SKBT' directed by debutant Ike has collected Rs.13 crores across Tamil Nadu in ten days. This includes Rs.1.7 crores from Chennai, Rs.3.5 crores from Chengalpet and Rs.2 crores from Coimbatore.

It is to be noted that the film acquired a U/A certificate and hence there is no possibility of Entertainment Tax exemption. But still the film has managed to fetch a distributors's share of around Rs.6 crores in TN. The film has been declared as a 'Hit' and this is a much needed break in its lead actor Jiiva's career. .

'SKBT' is the debut production of director Atlee and this success will encourage him to give many more quality entertainers.
