Jiiva, one of the best performers in Tamil cinema, is poised to make a comeback with the highly anticipated horror thriller Black, which is set to hit theatres in October. Excitement is building on the film as the team unveiled the official trailer yesterday and it has quickly gained traction across social media platforms.
Produced by Potential Studios, Black features Jiiva and Priya Bhavani Shankar as a married couple. The trailer provides a glimpse into the film's chilling narrative, which unfolds over a single night. However, some fans have commented that the storyline in the trailer heavily resembles the 2019 Hollywood film 'Vivarium'.
