After the debacle 'Yaan',talented actor Jiiva did not have any release last year. But he is expected to compensate the gap with three releases this year.

Jiiva is currently working in three film 'Thirunaal', 'Pokkiri Raja' and 'Kavalai Vendam'.

Out of the three 'Pokkiri Raja' which is the landmark 25th film of the actor will be releasing first. The makers are trying to bring it to the screens on February 19 but the release date is yet to be locked. The film has been directed by Ramkumar Rayappa of 'Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum' fame and produced by P.T.Selvakumar under his PTS Films banner. D.Imman has scored music for this film which has Hansika as the female lead and Sibiraj as the parallel hero.

'Thirunaal' directed by K.P.Subramaniam has been in the making for a considerably long time. The film has Jiiva playing a rustic goon while Nayanthara is acting as a bold village school teacher. This film which is presently in post-production stage is expected to hit the screens in the mid 2016.

Meanwhile Jiiva is presently busy acting in 'Kavalai Vendam' directed by Deekay. The shooting of this film which marks the first time pairing up of Jiiva and Kajal Aggarwal has been going on in full swing for the past few weeks. Produced by Elred Kumar under the RS Infotainment banner 'Kavalai Vendam' can be expected to hit the screens in the last quarter of 2016.
