After the 'Kabali' storm, this Friday (July 29) will not have any direct Tamil releases and 'Kabali' is expected to be retained in as many screen as it was screened on its release day. Trisha's 'Nayagi' which was supposed to hit the screens on July 29 may not release now due to the poor response for the film's Telugu versions released on July 15.

'Kabali' will have a good two week solo run in theaters till next Friday (August 5) when Jiiva and Nayanthara starrer 'Thirunaal' has been scheduled to hit the screens. This is a rustic rural entertainer in which Jiiva plays a village ruffian and Nayanthara a teacher.

Now we learn from a reliable source that 'Meendum Oru Kadhal Kathai' the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam super hit 'Thattathin Marayathu' will also be hitting the screens on August 5. This is a breezy city based romance flick.

The film stars debutant Walter Philips and Isha Talwar in lead roles. Manoj K.Jayan, Arjunan, Thalaivasan Vijay and Vidyullekha Raman have played supporting character. G.V.Prakash Kumar has done the musical score.

The film recently bagged a clean U certificate from the Censor board officials. We can expect an official announcement on the release date very soon.
