A couple of days ago. the 'Remo' team announced that their film will hit the screens on October 7, 2016. Now another biggie will be hitting the screens on the same day to cash in on the long 'Aayudha Pooja' weekend.

It has been officially confirmed that Actor Jiiva's multi-starrer 'Kavalai Vendam' will be releasing worldwide on October 7. The film has been directed by Deekay of 'Yaamirukka Bayame' fame and produced by Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment banner.

The film stars Jiiva, Kajal Aggarwal, Sunaina and Bobby Simha in the lead roles. Karunakaran who made us laugh out of lungs in Deekay's debut film has been retained in this film as well. Adding charm to the star cast will be RJ Balaji who has been cast in an important supporting character.

Leon James of 'Ko 2' fame is doing the musical for this film. Abinanthan is handling the cinematography, Senthil Raghavan is the Art director and Anthony Rupen is incharge of Editing this film.

Jiiva's acting career is on a rough patch due to continuous flops and we hope 'Kavalai Vendam' gives the much needed break in this highly talented actor's career. The team could not have asked for a better release time than the Pooja holidays which will ensure a tremendous opening.
