Actor Jiiva who had recently delivered Kee, his long delayed movie co-starring Nikki Galrani and Anaika Soti, had his next release of the year, Gorilla scheduled to release worldwide this week, on June 21. However, in an unexpected move, the release date of Gorilla has been changed.

It has been said that due to some issues with the date and for better reach among audience, the team has pushed the movie from June 21 to July 5. June 21 also has movies like Sindhubaadh, Thumbaa planned to release. Gorilla features a real chimpanzee in an important character.

Directed by Don Sandy who had earlier directed Mahabalipuram, this movie is touted to be a heist comedy, that also stars Arjun Reddy heroine Shalini Pandey. Sathish, Motta Rajendran, Radha Ravi, Yogi Babu among others. Gorilla has music by Sam CS and is produced by All In Pictures.
