Jiiva is one of the most talented and intense actors among the younger generation of actors who has proved that he is special in many films including 'Ram', 'E', 'Ko', 'Siva Manasula Shakthi' and others. He is currently playing the role of India's legendary opening batsman Krishnamachari Srikanth in '83' the biopic of how the team won its first World Cup under the captaincy of Kapil Dev played by Ranveer Singh.

The first look of Jiiva's character in '83' has been unveiled by Ranveer and shows an absolute transformation of the actor into the legend including the stance and the facial expression. Jiiva himself is an accompalished cricketer who had impressed many a time with the willow in hand in the Celebrity Premier League tournaments.

'83' directed by Kabir Khan has Deepika Padukone playing the role of Kapil's wife along with hubby Ranveer while Boman Irani, Neena Gupta, Parvati Nair, Aditi Arya and Wamiqa Gabba are the others in the cast. The film is releasing on April 10th 2020.
