Actor Jiiva has completed shooting for 'Kalakalappu 2' directed by Sundar.C. The film is touted to be an out and out comic riot like its predecessor. The teaser of the film released yesterday for Christmas, has raised the expectations on that front. 

Now comes an announcement about Jiiva's next interesting project. Talented 'Katradhu Tamizh' actor has signed up for a film to be directed by debutant  The film touted to be a comedy with enough thrill elements will be directed by Don Sandy who has earlier made the heist thriller 'Mahabalipuram'. This  yet to be titled film will be produced by Vijayaraghavendra.

The most exciting part of the announcement is that Shalini Pandey, who conquered the hearts of Telugu youngsters with the recent cult super hit 'Arjun Reddy' will be playing Jiiva's love interest in this film. 

The film will also have RJ Balaji and Yogi Babu in important supporting roles while Sam.C.S. of 'Vikram Vedha' fame will be providing music. 

The film is all set to go on floors in January 2018.
