Actor Jiiva was last seen on screen in the heist comedy Gorilla directed by Don Sandy, and next the actor is getting ready for multiple releases back to back. Jiiva was supposed to have his mass entertainer Seeru released last year, but the release had been postponed.

After being pushed from its initial release date of December 20, now it has been made official that Seeru will be releasing worldwide on February 7. Seeru is produced by top production house Vels Film International and is directed by Rathna Shiva who had last directed Rekka with Vijay Sethupathi.

Seeru also stars actor Navdeep who has acted in movies like Arindhum Ariyamalum and Aegan in a negative role, and Puppy hero Varun, and actress Riya Suman makes her Tamil debut as the female lead of the movie. Seeru has music by D Imman and is the debut of singer Nochipatty Thirumoorthy.
