The first season of 'Jhansi' has been streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar since October last week of 2022. The news is that its second season is all set to stream from January 19 this year.

The trailer for the second season is out. One gets a sense that Anjali is going to fight her enemies with a renewed plan. And Chandini Chowdhary, who had only a token presence in the first season, will be having a major role in the second season.

Here is what the first season was about. Jhansi (Anjali) forgot her past. Her boyfriend Sankeerth (Aadarsh Balakrishna) and his daughter Neha was their life. Jhansi went through panic attacks and nightmares of villainous forces assaulting her. Evidently, it was because of the past trauma that she has been in a state of amnesia. Barbie (Chandini Chowdary), who had a connection with Jhansi, was seen in a separate track. Sankeerth's estranged partner, a cop, started investigating a series of murders in Hyderabad.

The thriller has music by Sricharan Pakala. It is directed by Thiru and Ganesh Kaarthic.
