JFW recognizes women in Tamil cinema in Grand Movie awards!

JFW, South India’s largest media brand for women had started as a magazine in 2007 and has ventured into digital space. After hosting movie awards for the first time in 2019, JFW hosted its Second Edition of Movie Awards on March 14, and the gala event witnessed women from the Tamil film industry who made an impression with their works on and off screen in the year 2019 getting awarded.
The grand event witnessed the presence of a number of star guests including Actress Simran, Meena, Actor Vikram Prabu, RJ Balaji, ace director Cheran, Karthik Naren, Music directors DSP, D.Imman and many others.
The awardees this year were Aishwarya Rajesh (Best Actress – Critic For Namma Veettu Pillai), Manju Warrier (Best actress in a Lead Role), Jyothika (Best Actress Women-Centric Film For Ratchasi), Shraddha Srinath (Best Actress Critic For Nerkonda Paarvai), Megha Akash (Best Debutante For Enni Noki Pavum Thotta) Anikha Surendran (Best Child Artist For Viswasam), Halitha Shameen( Woman Director Of The Year For Sillukarpati), Revathi (Best Actress – Comic Role For Jackpot), Sadhana (Best Child Artist – Critic), SY Gowtham Raj (Best Director – Women Centric Film For Ratchasi), Deepa Venkat (Best Dubbing Artist For Game Over), Ammu Abhirami (Best Supporting Actress For Asuran) Archana Kalpathi (Woman Producer Of The Year For Bigil, Ezhilmathy (Best Costume Designer Of The Year For Super Deluxe), Shasha Tripathi (Best Singer Visiri) Thamari (Best Lyricist) Ratchasi (Best Women Centric Film Of The Year), Vivek (Special Recognition Award For Singepenne).
