After bagging a dream debut in a Mammootty film, TV host turned actor Jewel Mary reveals that her family didn't feel the exact way that she thought about the offer. Jewel says that as with the concerns of every other middle class family, her parents were not supportive for her filmy entry. They were more concerned about her security and it took her some time to convince them about the importance of the offer and the big men behind the film.

Jewel Mary who will play the female lead of Nalini in the movie 'Pathemary' will thus team up with the likes of Rasul Pookuty, Salim Ahamed and Madhu Ambatt in the movie .

Jewel is currently busy completing her episodes for the reality show 'D for Dance'. She will join the film in its second schedule in November.
