Last week Indiaglitz had reported that the makers of 'Kabali' are in talks with Chinese Superstar and Martial arts expert Jet Li to act as the lead villain opposite Superstar Rajinikanth.

Now reliable sources cloe to 'Kabali' unit have confirmed that there was indeed a plan to cast Jet Li in the film and talks were initiated. But now the plan has been changed and Jet Li will not be a part of the film.

It must be recalled that several rounds of talks were held with Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger for him to be cast as the lead villain in '2.0' the film in which Rajinikanth is acting simultaneously with 'Kabali'. But Arnie could not be brought on board and Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has been cast in that role.

'Kabali' has been written and directed by Pa.Ranjith and Kalaipuli.S.Thanu is producing the flick. Radhika Apte, Dhanshika. Dinesh, Kalaiyarasan, John Vijay, Rythiwika and many others are acting with Rajini in this film which will have musical score by Santosh Narayanan.
