The pre-release event of 'Jersey' was held on Monday evening at Hyderabad's Shilpa Kala Vedika. Victory Venkatesh graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Natural Star Nani said that he has always liked Venky's movies. "He is the one star whom I have liked offscreen as much as I loved before meeting him. Everybody says that he and I should do a multi-starrer if ever I get a chance to do another multi-starrer. I hope it will happen someday," Nani said.

"Coming to 'Jersey', I can say that you will always be proud of me, director Gowtam Tinnanuri, Shraddha Srinath and everyone else who has worked on the movie. This is the kind of great movie which doesn't need terms like blockbuster. Gowtam is not here today because he is in Chennai, working on the film till the last minute. He is going to become a major director in future," he said.

Nani added, "In 'Jersey', everything will tell a story, be it Anirudh's music, the cinematography, the art direction, or the producers."

The film releases on April 19.
