'Jersey', which hit the screens on April 19, is all set to achieve break-even in a few days. Its pre-release theatrical business is said to be Rs 26 Cr. As of the end of Monday, the Nani-Shraddha Srinath movie mopped up a share of Rs 25 Cr or thereabouts from all territories.
In the US, by collecting USD 1.3 million or so, the cricket-based family drama has long entered the profit zone.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the sensible drama has been outsmarted by 'Kanchana-3' in some segments in 'B' and 'C' areas. Otherwise, it has been quite unbeatable.
