The pre-release event of 'Jersey' was held on Monday evening at Hyderabad's Shilpa Kala Vedika. Victory Venkatesh graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the 'F2' actor said that he was always enthused by 'Jersey' right from the time he saw its First Look. "I wanted to be a part of the film in some or the other way. And I am here today. After watching the Trailer, I have only one word: Mind-blowing. Rarely are genuine movies like this one made. I appreciate Nani for attempting a movie like this. It's only stories like this one that offers an actor the opportunity to involve completely. An actor would get emotional while doing a film like this one," he said.
Venky said, "The hero in this film has a say-say-die spirit. Everyone has struggles in life. The real essence and thrill of life lie in not giving up. That's what 'Jersey' says. I hope this movie is a life lesson."
"The producers are good friends of mine. I congratulate them and appreciate the whole team, especially the heroine, the music director, etc. Nani has gone on to become one of the most natural actors since his first movie 'Ashta Chamma'," Venky concluded.
The film releases on April 19.
