'Jersey' breaks into million dollar club

Nani-starrer 'Jersey' has made it to the one million dollar club in the crucial US market. The cricket-based family drama joins the club of Nani's five other movies: 'Eega', 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy', 'MCA', 'Ninnu Kori', and 'Nenu Local'.

The film's domestic collections have been upstaged to an extent by competition from 'Kanchana-3'. The unexpectedly good performance of the horror-comedy, starring Raghava Lawrence, has understandably divided the market share.

With no major releases this Friday (April 26), the current films playing at the box-office are at an advantage. Tollywood awaits market for new releases to take off from May 1, when 'Arujun Suravaram' and 'Abhinetri-2' release.
