A source from Entertainment Tonight claims that Ben stays in Los Angeles while J.Lo is right now in the Hamptons. 

The insider said she is appreciating her time on the East Coast, particularly with friends and family supporting her, and is concentrating on the good sides of her life.

The source said the singer has had unanticipated adjustments and challenges this year. J.Lo is resolved not to let her relationship problems with Ben define her and to see her 55th birthday as a fresh beginning.

Ben’s current circumstances remain unknown. A source recently told the Daily Mail that the pair might be rekindling their romance via love letters. The insider said, “Jen and Ben agreed to take some time apart to figure out what they really want. 

Though they were about to file for divorce, they chose to give it one more shot by letter writing, remembering how they first fell in love.
