Jennifer Lopez recently showered love on Ben Affleck for Father's Day with a sweet message. The actress-singer took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, June 16, with a lovely post with a black-and-white photo of him. She wrote over the image, "Our hero. "Happy Father's Day," he added, along with a white heart emoji.

Before this tribute, the couple made their appearance at the graduation party of Ben Affleck's son, Samuel.

A rented house in Brentwood, California hosted the celebration. The event showed both Lopez and Affleck donning wedding rings, despite rumors of trouble brewing between them as newlyweds.

Jennifer Garner, the ex-wife of Affleck, was also there to celebrate their 12-year-old son. Affleck has three children with Garner: Violet, 18; Seraphina, 15; and Samuel, 12. He is also a stepfather to Lopez's twins, Max and Emme, 16, from her earlier marriage to Marc Anthony.

Recently, Lopez and Affleck showed their unity by attending Violet's high school graduation. As far back as early June, reports indicated that despite some marital issues, the artists remained very friendly. People interpreted their joint attendance at Samuel's basketball game as a positive sign for their relationship.

Aside from the Affleck post, Lopez did not miss a single opportunity to share a post to celebrate Father's Day with her dad. This means that, in these instances, she shows respect toward those central fathers in her life by taking, in a friendly way, shots of togetherness amidst struggles.
