The latest revelation emerges within a defamation case between Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's former partner now serving a 20-year sentence, and Virginia Giuffre, an accuser. Epstein, known for his elite circles, faced sex crime accusations dating back to the '90s. Initially detained in 2005 for sexual misconduct, Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008, receiving a lenient sentence. Despite this, influential connections remained.
Maxwell, also convicted, is serving a 20-year term for aiding Epstein's misconduct. The documents reference Epstein's accusers, his staff, witnesses in Maxwell's trial, and individuals associated with investigations. Notable figures include Jean-Luc Brunel, a modeling agent linked to Epstein, accused by Giuffre before his death in 2022.
The disclosure lacks a specific release schedule, with more expected soon. The Court Listener site crashed due to the volume, though efforts to address the surge are ongoing, according to the Free Law Project.
