During a recent TV debate, a women's leader allegedly made baseless accusations against Rajasekhar's family. Jeevitha Rajasekhar has suitably responded by warning the TV channel that aired the debate and the women's leader of legal action.
"It's to the credit of MAHAA News that it airs anything that ensures TRPs. During a debate on April 14, the women's leader in question made baseless allegations that are demeaning to me and my family. She provided no evidence. The host not only didn't ask her for evidence but also behaved as if whatever she was saying is true. Here is our reply to the host Murthy and POW Sandhya. Don't think that you can get away with anything just because you have a TV channel at your disposal. We are going to initiate civil and criminal action against you," Jeevitha said in a statement.
"There seems to be a pre-meditated plan ahead of my appointment to a committee in the film industry against casting couch. I am a member of the Central Censor Board. It's below my dignity to directly talk to a C-grade channel and those who make allegations every day. That's why I am issuing an open statement," she said.
