Jeevitha Rajasekhar has said that there is no need for any member of the MAA to be scared to cast their vote in the Presidential elections, which are due to be held on October 10. With the Manchu Vishnu and Prakash Raj panels being polarized sharply, several members seem to have privately expressed fear to take sides for different reasons.
"There is no need to fear. If anyone is scared, it's Naresh and Manchu Vishnu. They held a presser and targeted me. Why did they do it?" Jeevitha asked.
The vote-counting will begin on the evening of the voting day. "Counting is a laborious, time-taking process. If a special team takes care of the counting process, the counting will start the same day this time as well," Jeevitha said.
As per the demand of Vishnu, the paper ballot system is being used this year. Bandla Ganesh recently wanted to contest for General Secretary but he withdrew. Jeevitha said that she had no role in influencing him to withdraw the nomination.
