Actor Jeeva’s film, after the successful 'Siva Manasula Shakthi' and 'Thenavattu', was originally said to be titled 'Viththai'. The film has been renamed 'Katcheri' now.

'Katcheri' has also shifted hands from JJ Good Films to be produced by Baburaja to RB Chaudhary of Supergood Films. RB Chaudhary is Jeeva’s dad and he will now be producing the film, as the project that Jeeva was supposed to do with Cheran for RB Chowdry has been shelved.

'Katcheri' will be directed by director Thiraivaanan and the rest of the details, including the film’s heroine, is yet to be finalized. D. Imman will be composing the music for this film, which is said to be an action film.

Jeeva has proven his talent with offbeat films like 'Raam' and 'Ee', while he has also proved himself to be a crowd puller with commercial flicks like 'Thenavattu'. It now remains to be seen which kind of a role that Jeeva will don for 'Katcheri'.
