Jeevan is busy playing the lead in Thiruttu Payalae (directed by Susi Ganesan). From a dreadful gangster in Kaakha Kaakha, Jeevan plays a heart-throb in Thiruttu Payalae.

Having made his debut as hero in University which sank at the box-office, Jeevan quickly shrugged that image in Kaakha Kaakha, which not only propelled him to stardom, but also won him many awards.

Asked how the movie is shaping up, he says, 'good. It's a nice feeling to be part of it along with seasoned artistes, Vivek and Sonia Agarwal. A movie to cherish in my career. I should thank Susi Ganesan for giving me this opportunity.'

On his movies, Jeevan says, University helped me get the first taste and reach out the masses. In sheer contrast was Kaakha Kaakha toeing altogether a different line. There is a right mix of action, emotion and sentiments in Thiruttu Payalae.
