Jeevan will appear in different types of masks in ‘Krishnaleelai’. It is going to be a tough task for the audience to identify him, says the film’s director Selvan.

A former associate of Shankar, the filmmaker says, “Many have asked me whether it is a romantic film. It is an action flick with a social message. It throws light on various problems that is affecting our society. The urgent need to correct them is the crux. It is a mass film with a mass theme.”

Then why such a title kindling romantic ideas, that too with an actor like Jeevan, who is known for Casanova roles in the lead? To this question, Selvan replies, “I read about Lord Krishna and his endeavours to curb evils in the society. My story is about a man with similar qualities. Lord Krishna is not an embodiment of love alone.”

Produced by Kavithalaya, the movie has newcomer Megna as heroine. “Megna has bagged 10 new offers thanks to the stills of Krishnaleelai,” claims Selvan. The film has musical score by Srikanth Deva.
