Sports and motivation are two sides of a coin, and when they are made into a film most often they end up inspiring the audience. With a director who knows what he is doing at the helm, the film must surely reach the movie goers with the right attitude. Jeeva is director Suseenthiran’s next project and is quite close to his heart as he says, for its emotional content and its captivating subject.

With cricket as the heart of the movie, the movie revolves around friendship, sentiment, love, pain and a lot of cricketing. Vishnu the real life cricketer is the hero of this movie, one would say its only ideal that he essays this role than anyone else. Sri Divya who last appeared in Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam is playing the leading lady of this movie, with Soori, Harish and Vinoth forming the rest of the cast.

The world is full of talented youth who aspire to make it big into their respective fields, however end up into the quicksand of politics many a time. And who better than the voice of a sports person can be better can make justice, after all they form the majority of people who fail to make into the prime league owing to cheap politics. This forms as the primary plot of “Jeeva” and Suseenthiran has weaved out a novel cricket movie around this with Vishnu as the hero.

Vishnu’s capabilities as a cricketer is something everyone in the town is aware and he also helped our Kollywood team through in the cine cricket league held over the years. The film itself is inspired by some real life incidents and director Suseenthiran has claimed as Jeeva to be one of his best works till date.

The film’s marketing is already in full flow with major media houses starting to exhibit the movie’s stills. Imman has composed the music for this movie, with such a powerful storyline the BGM should make waves and knowing Imman, this will surely be a test.

The real hero of the movie will be the story, which is about the life of the sports people which matters more than the matches they play. Suseenthiran has chosen a story that trots around rejection and how to deal with it. Well, the hype has made its mark! Now for the movie to come out and hit sixes across theatres!
