JD Chakravarthy, who has acted in a number of Tamil films such as 'Marainthirunthu Paarkum Marmam Enna' over the years, has been enlisted for an important role in a Tamil movie to be headlined by actor Sasi Kumar. JD will be playing the main villain in the movie, which is being helmed by newcomer Hemanth Kumar.

Going into details, JD is learned to have accepted the character because he loved the script thoroughly. Since he is not averse to essaying negative roles, the 'Satya' actor played ball.

Also featuring Kollywood starlet Samyuktha Shan, the untitled flick is going to be one of the most important releases in JD's career.

Seen in titles such as 'Nakshatram', 'Ice Cream 2' and 'Hippi' in Telugu in recent years, JD was earlier this year in the news when his movie 'MMOF' hit the screens. In a pre-release interview, JD opined that he is open to OTT content, adding that it has given the audience ready access to a wide variety of content. Talking about how the pandemic has affected him, JD said that he has always disliked social gatherings and that the lockdown is irrelevant as far as he is concerned. "My lifestyle hasn't changed because of the pandemic," JD added.
