Owing to the IPL match in Mumbai, team 'Jazbaa' had to skip some of their chosen shooting locations in the city. It is said that the shooting got cancelled when they didn't get the required area. Of late the director of Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan revealed on micro-blogging site that he was denied permission by cops; against shooting in the areas near Marine Drive as IPL match was scheduled to happen there.

Gupta vented out his anger by tweeting thus, "Police denied permission to shoot JAZBAA on Marine Drive cause of IPL traffic. That's it! Stop getting extra enthu with conspiracy theories...."

Following which speculations were rife that the team wanted to shoot in Wankhede. However, Gupta denied the rumours. Justifying the fact that he wanted to shoot on the roads and not in the stadium, the 'Shootout At Wadala' famed helmer also wrote, "We were to shoot on the roads and not in Wankhede Stadium. So no question of seeking permission from Wankhede authorities. Band karo bakwas!"
