'Jazbaa' beauty roped in for 'Darr' remake

The makers of 'Darr' remake reported to have signed in Priya Banerjee, who was Sanjay Gupta's find in 'Jazbaa' (who essayed the role of Shabana Azmi daughter in the film). This beauty would be seen portraying the role of Juhi Chawla in the original Shah Rukh Khan starrer. Incidentally, 'Darr' remake will be having Karan Veer Bohra in the lead.

A source close to the production house revealed that a 30 day schedule in Manali will be followed by an extensive schedule in Mumbai and casting for other pivotal characters is yet on.

Post 'Jazbaa' Priya was the ideal choice to have played the lead and has seen 'Darr' over and over again to get extracts of the character. The actress for sure has a heavy responsibility getting into the shoes of the iconic Kiran played by Juhi Chawla in the original.
