Reaching out in different forms of film making director Jayathirtha feels satisfied on his new film ‘Vanilla’ that is a murder mystery. His previous films Olave Mandhara, Tony, Bullet Basya and Beautiful Manasugalu touched on realities to some extent. They were different in the approach.

Screening two songs of the film ‘Vanilla’ and challenging star Darshan speech at audio release in Mysuru, Jayathirtha thanked actor Avinash for being part of the film writing stage. He has shot at Udupi and Mulki surroundings and in Mysuru. The character of Ravishanker is a direct pick from real life of the Lok Ayuktha MN Venkatachalaih probing added Jayathirtha. Four winners of 1400 participants for lyrics have been rewarded and it makes very happy fir Jayathirtha because of writers showing interest.

Known for a beautiful song in ‘Beautiful Manasugalu’ journalist from Vijayavani newspaper Madan Bellisalu outlined beauty adding to this film ‘Vanilla’.

For comedy actor turned hero in big screen Ravishanker Gowda the caliber and application of director Jayathirtha is that of a ‘Cinema Thapaswi’. He plays investigation officer and not having comedy in it. The situations here add up to comedy he said.

Rehman anchor and Big Boss 4 participant says his role is not negative but suspicion is on him in the murder mystery. For Swathi female lead Jayathirtha is like God father in cinema industry. She is curious to know the results for this film.
