During the 100th-day celebrations of the Jayasurya starrer 'Aadu 2', the filmmakers announced that 'Aadu 3' will start rolling in 2020. In a recent interview, director Midhun Manuel Thomas, who is fresh from the success of ‘Anjaam Pathiraa’, has revealed his plans for ‘Aadu 3’. The director is in plans to push the third installment to a bigger scale by taking the movie in a 3D version. The talks for the same are going on at a brisk pace.

In 'Aadu 3', Jayasurya will be playing the role Shaji Pappan while Sunny Wayne and Vinayakan will be reprising their characters Sathan Xavier and Dude respectively. Actors Saiju Kurup, Dharmajan, Vijay Babu, Indrans, Bhagath Manuel and Sudhi Koppa are all likely to reprise their roles from the earlier two parts. Reports are that some new characters may be introduced in 'Aadu 3'.

Earlier, the movie's producer Vijay Babu had said that they are hoping to release the film for Onam 2020. The shooting of this film is expected to begin this summer. Though 'Aadu Oru Bheekara Jeeviyaanu' didn’t work at the box office, the sequel 'Aadu 2', was a blockbuster hit.
