Jayasurya's 'Aadu 2' shoot comes to a halt

The filming for 'Aadu 2', the sequel of 'Aadu Oru Bheekarajeeviyanu' started a week ago in Thodupuzha. As per the latest update, the shoot has come to a halt due to unexpected heavy rain in the state for the past one week. "We were finding it tough to have a continuous shoot due to the intermittent heavy rains," said director Midhun Manuel to a popular newspaper. The team has taken a break for four days and will resume the shoot once after the sun shows its sunny side. The team would probably resume from September 22nd, said Vijay Babu, the movie's producer who is also playing a pivotal role.
Jayasurya is the lead in the film and he will be portraying the popular character, Shaji Pappan. The sequel of the movie is yet another episode of Shaji Pappan's life and is going to be a colourful mass action comedy. The cast who were part of Shaji Pappan and team will be retained in the sequel too. Produced by Vijay Babu's Friday Films, 'Aadu 2' will have music by Shaan Rahman.Vishnu Narayanan handles cinematography and Lijo Paul is the editor.
