As reported earlier, Malayalam actor Jayasurya is teaming up with police officer-turned-scenarist Shahi Kabir, for an upcoming movie titled 'Writer', that will be helmed by newcomer Ravisankar. A day ago, the makers of the movie have unveiled a title poster of the film via social media. Sharing the title poster, Jayasurya wrote “Looking forward to ‘Writer’, spearheaded by Ravishankar and bankrolled by Akhil and Ashik. Wishing the new director and producers the best! .” The title poster features a broken official document file of Government of Kerala that is wrapped with holy threads and infested with lizards.

Police officer-turned-scenarist Shahi Kabir is known for movies such as Joseph and Nayattu, that was appreciated for their gripping content. Nimish Ravi, who has wielded the camera for Dulquer Salmaan's 'Kurup' has roped in as the Director of Photography. Editing is by Kiran Das and music by Yakzan and Neha. The team is planning to start with the shoot in September. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Jayasurya has a handful oexciting projects lined up including '‘Kathanar The Wild Sorcerer 3D’, ‘Aadu 3’, ‘Eesho’, and ‘John Luther’ among others.
