Mollywood actor Jayasurya who is basking in the success of his latest release John Luther, that hit the big screens in Kerala on May 27, is all set for the movie's Gulf release. The release date is scheduled to be on June 2nd. Jayasurya who plays the title character took to his official Facebook handle to announce that the same. “John Luther movie is coming to the Gulf Countries on 2nd of June," he announced as he shared a new poster from the movie.

Jayasurya plays the titular role of John Luther, a circle inspector who is trying to unravel the mystery of a road accident and subsequent missing persons cases. The movie is scripted and directed by debutant Abhijith Joseph. ‘John Luther’ also features the actors Athmeeya Rajan, Drishya Raghunath, Siddique, Deepak Parambol, Sivadas Kannur, Sreelakshmi, and Pramod Velliyanad in pivotal roles. The story of the movie is set in Devikulam, Munnar.Roby Varghese Raj, who has helmed the camera in movies like Puthiya Niyamam, The Great Father, and Captain, is the cinematographer of John Luther. Shaan Rahman has composed the music for the movie while Praveen Prabhakar has helmed the editing department. Calling it one of the most riveting suspense thrillers that happened in the Mollywood industry recently, the movie has opened to positive responses from all corners.
