Director Ranjith Sankar has officially announced the sequel to his hit movie 'Punyalan Agarbathis' (2013). The movie is yet to be titled and the shoot of which will begin soon.

Punyalan Agarbathis, the socio-political satire is about a Thrissur based young entrepreneur Joy Thakkolkaran, who tried hard to succeed in his business of incense sticks. Produced by Jayasurya and Ranjith Sankar under the banner of Dreams N Beyond, the movie featured Jayasurya and Nyla Usha in the lead roles.

The sequel will have all the characters and will be a continuation of the first part. Reportedly, the movie will start from where Punyalan Agarbattis ended. The new project will also be produced by Jayasurya and Ranjith Sankar under the banner of Dreams N Beyond and is likely to hit the screens this December. More details on the sequel are expected to be announced in the coming days.

Meanwhile, his latest release 'Ramante Edanthottam' starring Kunchacko Boban and Anu Sithara is doing decent business in the box-office.
