Ever since Jayasurya's character Shaji Pappan of 'Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeevi Aanu' impressed the crowds, the demand for a sequel to the film has been appearing online for a while, and now, the movie is becoming a reality. The non-brainy comedy entertainer which became a torrent hit after being crushed at the box office is one of the most - anticipated movies of recent times. Finally, the movie is all set to go on floors.

According to the latest update 'Aadu 2' will start rolling in September first week. Talking about the film, director Midhun Manuel says that the sequel of the movie is yet another episode of Shaji Pappan's life and is going to be a colourful mass action comedy.

He also confirmed that the cast who were part of Shaji Pappan and team will be retained in the sequel too. As Shaji Pappan is cured from his backache in the sequel, the director promises a lot of action sequences in the upcoming venture.

Produced by Vijay Babu's Friday Films, 'Aadu 2' will have music by Shaan Rahman. If all goes well, 'Aadu 2' will hit the big screens on 2017 Christmas.
