The filming for 'Aadu 2', the sequel of 'Aadu Oru Bheekarajeeviyanu' has started in Thodupuzha on September 13. 

The film's pooja was held at Kochi on September 12. Jayasurya is the lead in the film and he will be portraying the popular character, Shaji Pappan.  The sequel of the movie is yet another episode of Shaji Pappan's life and is going to be a colourful mass action comedy. 

The cast who were part of Shaji Pappan and team will be retained in the sequel too. As Shaji Pappan is cured of his backache in the sequel, the movie's director promises a lot of action sequences in the upcoming venture. Produced by Vijay Babu's Friday Films, 'Aadu 2' will have music by Shaan Rahman.Vishnu Narayanan handles cinematography and Lijo Paul is the editor.

The non-brainy comedy entertainer which became a torrent hit after being crushed at the box office is one of the most - anticipated movies of recent times. The makers have confirmed that Midhun Manuel Thomas' Aadu-2, starring Jayasurya in the lead, will hit the screens during Christmas.
