Jayasuriya as an eccentric doctor

Jayasuriya known for his light hearted comic roles will play the character of a doctor for the first time in his career in the new film 'Doctor Patient'. The movie will feature him as Dr Ruben Issac, an eccentric Psychiatrist who has got his peculiar ways of treating the patients.

The pooja of the movie was held at the Sarovaram hotel at Kochy last week, where the ceremonial lamp was lighted by Jose C Mundadan, Secretary of the film distributors Association. 'Doctor_Patient' is the second venture from director Viswanathan, a master degree holder in psychology, who debuted with the movie 'Out Of Syllabus'.

‘Doctor Patient’ will also feature Jagathy Sreekumar , Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sreejith Ravi, Nedumudi Venu , Anoop Chandran and Sukumary. Produced by Ramprasd in the banner of A R international, the movie will start its shoot by the end of next week at wagamon and Kuttikkanam.
