Actor Salim Kumar will be directing Jayaram for an upcoming project titled 'Daivame Kaithozham K.Kumarakanam'. As per the latest update, the team has wrapped up the shoot for the movie which will hit the bigscreens on January 2018. 

Touted to be a fun filled family entertainer scripted by Salim Kumar himself, the movie features Anusree in the female lead along with Nedumudi Venu, Surabhi Lakshmi, Kochu Premam, and Hareesh Kanaran in pivotal roles.The movie is expected to bring back the classic Sreenivasan-Jayaram combo on the silver screen after a brief gap.PC George, one of the most controversial politicians in Kerala, will play the role of a Chief Minister in 'Daivame Kaithozham K.Kumarakanam'. 

Apart from directing, Salim Kumar will also be playing a prominent role in the upcoming movie. Alwin Antony of Ananya Films and Dr Zachariah Thomas of UGM Entertainment are jointly funding the upcoming venture.
