Back with his favorite director Rajasenan is Jayaram, who looks smarter than ever before with loosing some weight. He is with Senan for the new film Kanakasimhasanam in which Jayaram is playing a drama actor Kanakaambaran, who runs his own theaters in the title Kottaram theaters.

The film will be a sure shot hit as it tells a comic story based on situational comedies.

Jayaram is in different attire with curious wigs as a drama actor. However, running the troupe makes Kanakaambaran a pauper and his creditors make his life a real hell. His wife Bharathy, also acts in the troupe which mostly stage dramas and ballet based on epics.

As fate has it, he gets a request from Kanthapuram royalty to stage a drama at the palace and a great twist takes place there. The film features Karthika as Bharathy.

Lakshmi Gopalaswamy also plays the second female lead and actors like Janardhanan, Bheeman Raghu, Kalasala Babu, Kochu Preman and Kiran Raj are also in the cast. The film is scheduled for release this Christmas.
