South Indian actor Jayaram needs no introduction. With his acting prowess and unbeatable charming looks, Jayaram has already made a special place in the audience’s hearts and is undoubtedly one of the talented legends of the Malayalam film industry. He made his acting debut with the movie Aparan which was released in the year 1988. On Friday, Jayaram took to his social media handle and reminisced his memories during the first-day shoot for the film.
Sharing a throwback picture from the sets of the movie and another picture with his wifey and actress Parvathy, who played the female lead in the movie, Jayaram penned, "February 18, the day my debut film ‘Aparan’ commenced its shoot. The day I first met Aswathi. 34 years have passed now, I thank each and everyone for your love and prayers.” Aparan revolved around the life of a naive man named Viswanathan whose life falls into hardship due to his strange resemblance with a gangster. The movie was a huge hit and Jayaram gained appreciation from all corners for his inimitable performance.
On the work front, Jayaram is certainly going places with several highly ambitious projects in the pipeline, including Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, ‘Radhe Shyam’, Shankar’s tentatively titled project ‘SVC 50’ and the Malayalam film ‘Makal’ directed by Sathyan Anthikad.
