Young actor Kalidas, the son of Malayalam hero Jayaram is known among Tamil audience as well with his movies like Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum, and the unreleased Oru Pakka Kathai, besides the Malayalam flick Poomaram.

Now Kalidas took to his Instagram page and has praised his dad Jayaram’s dedication towards fitness. Sharing a photograph of Jayaram working out, Kalidas wrote that his dad still wakes up at 5am every morning for daily workouts, and that he would consider himself lucky if he achieved half of what his dad has done at this age.

On the work front, Kalidas will be seen next in the Malayalam film Jack and Jill co-starring Manju Warrier and Soubin Shahir and will return to Tamil with the Netflix anthology directed by Sudha Kongara and Jayaram will be seen in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan.
