Jayaram on an experiment mode

Jayaram is trying to reinvent himself with Vinu's Sooriyan. For the movie, he has trimmed his physique and has grown beard. The film is crucial for him as his fortunes are at an all-time low in the film industry.

V M Vinu is directing the movie which revolves around a singer. Jayaram plays the role of the singer. Vimala Raman plays the heroine. Satish K Sivan and Suresh Menon have penned the story.

Ilayaraja has scored the music for the film which would feature playback singer K J Yesudas in a prominent role. Vinu and Jayaram have been part of Mayilattam before.
